In order to create a music video my group and I will be using someone else's song; this brings into play copyright problems that may become an issue as we will be releasing out video on youtube and it could get flagged for copyright. In order to combat this my group and I did research into the contact details of the band in order to contact their record label. It was then we discovered that the band where no signed and that we had to email them personally.
We found their Facebook and then their band email address from there. We used this information to construct the following email in order to contact them for their permission to use the song ‘I know you know’ in our music video.
