All of the props and costume we will either be getting from the school or personally bring in. Furthermore, some of the costumes as they are standard casual clothes, the cast will own a lot of them, this saves us from buying them as we can get the cast to bring them in. We will need to talk to the cast beforehand and make sure that they own the right style as well as make sure they bring it in early enough encase on the day they forget as this could put our whole shoot in danger.

The lack of focus on the costumes and props as well as the casual carefree nature goes with the genre conventions of the genre of Indie/rock, the members are not bothered about ‘dressing the part’ as it is about the music and not about over selling themselves. In turn this adds to the star aspect of the band as suggested in dyer-star theory, this almost symbolic rebellion and rejection from the mainstream norms and values in the music industries attracts an audience especially in the younger generation as they can rebel against those same norms in the way of changing/altering their school uniforms for example. Moreover, the fact that all the band members are dressed differently is also important as it gives them their own identity as if they were wearing the same clothes or similar clothes then their identities would almost lie with the band as they would all be sold as the collective band. With their own identity it adds more to the band it gives them personally and something different about all of them it makes it feel more real and organic, this further appeals to the audience.
