Post Production: Making Of Social Media 3

 For the third part of creating my social media campaign, I created more merchandise for the bands Instagram account. I created a hat and an aluminium water bottle. The hat carries a very urban streetwear style that fits with the bands image. The decision behind the water bottle is as its metal and re-usable then this may appeal to the younger generations, we are trying to target who recently have shown concern over the environment and the use of things such as plastic bottles. Our target audience are very aware and want to be seen to be proactive about the current climate crisis. 

 

 

 

I also managed to book the photography studio late in the day on Tuesday next week, this will allow me to take more photos for the campaign and will allow me to further diversify the account as at the moment we do not have a wide variety of content to post. 

 

I then, took images from the internet and completely re constructed them in order to create versions for our band. This includes magazine covers, top charts, tour dates, radio show promotions and music award nominations. This content is to be posted on the account before and after the album release in order to create the sense among the audience about how the public is reacting and responding to the band.  

 

This also, creates the sense that the campaign and the album launch is very successful as the bands progress is shown. This could attract more audiences as others want to see what all of the hype is about. Furthermore, this content is very spreadable as things such as ratio show promotions can be shared and create more awareness and demand for the band.
