For this element of our social media post production, I decided that we need more content especially as most of the pre-album release content has been either posted or drafted onto the account. I have made a good backlog of content with the access available to me at this time as we have not been able to have a photo shoot. Below you can see the drafted content so far:
I managed to bring my hard drive into school in order to download some of the content from the camera that we used form the second half of our shoot day on location in Guildford. This includes all of the professional level photos taken with the camera that are to be used in the single frame elements of the shoot. I uploaded all of these photos onto my hard drive and begum to go through them to find ones that we could potentially use in the social media.
There where well over 4000 pictures taken on our set day and as we were figuring out the single frame for the first time, many of the photos where blurry and could not be used. It took me a considerable amount of time to go through photo by photo looking for more content.
I then took the photos that where clear and could have potential to be used in the social media I added to a folder within my photos on my laptop. I then started to favourite the few that I felt where suitable for potential Instagram inputs on the account.
I then used a few of these photos to finish some of the other elements of the social media that I needed more content for originally. Such as the award nomination as I needed a good picture of the band in order to finish this product. As can be seen above.
This allowed me to finish this post and save it got its time in the timeline for when we are ready for this type of content. The finished product can be seen below.
I am slowly creating drafts using this content as we get ready for our chance to have a photoshoot finally. These photos are very good as they are in the correct setting and are at night, this matches the theme of our other products. Most of this content will be used throughout the process of our online social media campaign on Instagram.
